LG OLED – Best Picture Settings (Day, Night and HDR)


Good morning Youtube. Welcome to Gamer’s Hub Channel. In this video, I am going to demonstrate the best picture settings for your LG OLED high definition TV. So we are going to start. The first thing is to open the settings menu. We are going to click on the settings, all
settings. We are going to click on picture settings,
first thing we are going to look is picture settings bright room. Which is going to be during the day and it
says bright room. We are going to click on bright room. I already customized the settings. So you can see, i have OLED light at 50, Contrastat 80, Brightness at 55, H Sharpness and V Sharpness at 10 each, Color at 50. We are going to under expert controls. Next, under dynamic contrast is going to be off, super resolution is going to be off, color wamut is going to be normal, we are going to keep this normal. For HDR gaming or movies it is going to be different. Edge enhancer is going to be off, color filter is going to be off, gamma is going to be 2.2. This is going to be 2.2 during the day. We are going to be under white balance, and everything that you see here is going to be at default. We are going to under color management system. Magenta is going to be -3, then we are going to go under yellow, and tint will be +4. Those are the only two colors we are going to change. We are going to go back to the menu. And then we are going to go under picture options. Noise reduction is going to be off, MPEG Noise reduction is going to be off, black level is going to be off, motion eye care is going to be off, TruMotion is going to be off. Make sure to apply to all inputs. This is basically take effect for all inputs
you have on your HDTV. We are going to go back to the menu. We are going to go under picture mode setting and change it. Now, we are going to select the dark room which is going to be under the night. We are going to go under night which is going to be a little bit different. OLED light will be at 30, Contrast 80, Brightness
50, H and V Sharpness is going to be 10, Color at 50. We are going to open the expert controls. Dynamic and super resolution is going to be
off, Color Gamut is going to be normal. Edge enhancer is going to be off, Color filter
off and gamma is going to be different. Gamma is going to be 2.4 during the night. We select white balance. Under Color temperature is going to be Warm2,
Method 2 points, Pattern is going to be outter, Point high, red will be +3, and blue +4. Make sure when you change white balance to
apply to all inputs. So we can apply the values to all inputs. We are going to go under color management
system. Yellow is going to be +4, then we are going
to select magenta and tint will be -2, then we are going to go under cyan and tint will
be -2 as well. We are going to keep this. The next step will be going back under picture
options. Everything is going to be off and black levels
will be low. Under picture options everything is going
to be off. Make sure to apply the setting to all inputs. Now the last thing we are going to do is the
HDR settings. The HDR will apply for gaming or movies. We are going to open and HDR system, i will
open the PS4. I will go under HDMI 2, under settings. We going to go under HDR. There are three options, i will say select
HDR standard user settings to get the best picture. OLED light 100, Contrast 100, Brightness at
50, Sharpness at 10, Color 55, Tint 0. Then we are going to under expert controls,
everything is going to be off except for Color Gamut. Make sure to select it to Wide, this is going
to give the best color for HDR. Color filter off. Now under white balance, everything is going
to be at default. Color management system do not change anything. The next step is we are going to go under
picture options. Everything is going to be low. Under noise reduction is going to be low. Black level is going to be low. Make sure when you change the setting to apply
to all inputs. These are the best HDR setting that i have
